Just wanted to thank you for the great time I enjoyed on a recent hunt with Farmland Outfitters. It was a long trip that was well worth it! After a two day ride from Florence, South Carolina with my hunting partner, Stan Yates, we settled in at the hotel. The food at the local restaurant was excellent. On the first day of our hunt I was able to harvest a nice black bear!
This was an awesome experience I will never forget. It had begun to rain earlier in the afternoon but the stand was very comfortable. After harvesting my bear, I contacted David by phone and he arrived in a few minutes. One of the things that make this such an enjoyable trip is that David gets as excited as the hunter does when a bear is harvested! We recovered my bear and headed to pick up Stan. He had not seen a bear the first day.
I enjoyed the traditional meal after my harvest…”Fries With The Works”. It was an enjoyable experience. Stan hunted on the second day and saw 4 bears. He decided to hold out. On the third day of his hunt, Stan endured some awful hunting conditions, and it paid off!
Stan harvested a really nice black bear! I was excited for him, as he was for me! I would highly recommend Farmland Outfitters to anyone interested in harvesting a black bear! You will not regret it! Thank you David, may God bless you! Looking forward to a return trip!
