Upland Bird Hunting

A variety of upland birds are hunted in Nova Scotia. Most common are: Ruffled Grouse, Wilson Snipe, Woodcock and Wild Ringneck Pheasants, which are hunted from October 1st – December 15th. Many different covers are used while hunting, such as old apple orchards, creek edges to give a few examples.

Kennels can be provided if you wish to bring your own dog, which we encourage you to do.
